Dear Cyril, i am not only praying for you but with you. the prayer must come from YOUR heart and YOUR mouth first and foremost. you do not have to go through me to get to God. I can stand beside you and support you but ultimately the foundational relationship must be between you and our Lord. The need for Gods mercy and grace is the same for all of us. Gods word tells us that "ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God", and that "there is none righteous, no not one". It also says in Luke 7:7 to Ask and it shall be given; seek and you shall find; knock and the door will be opened unto you: For EVERY ONE that asks receives; he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened unto him.
It goes on to assure us that just as we on earth know how to give good gifts to our children God loves us and wants to give us, his children, good things, the greatest being forgiveness and adoption as His own. When we feel the weight of our sin and our inability to be righteous and our desire to be changed, that is the HOly Spirit moving in our heart stirring us to be born again. We are not born again through our mothers womb but the Holy Spirit of God is born in us, making us truly Gods own child. And the only requirement for that to take place is for us to have an honest desire for it to happen and then to talk to God on prayer about it. there is no special way that it has to be said because it is a conversation with God, not a ritual. He hears you and even if you can't put the words together perfectly, God hears your heart. And the moment that you tell him your desire to be his child, a miraculous thing happens. You are born into His family. You are His forever. It is important to keep that relationship alive by staying in contact with HIm through prayer. and by prayer, i don't mean that i always have to be on my knees. i can be in prayer at all times. even when i am in the midst of a group of people i can be praying in my heart for them, or for a situation that i see, or for myself to know who to respond to different situations in my life. He will speak to my heart.

Thank you for allowing me to share this and please keep me posted on how you are doing.
